Property auctions
A property auction is a place where home owners or buyers can go to bid on houses. There are lots of these sales throughout the country. Although you may think that selling your home this way may be quick, there are a few pitfalls to be mindful of when opting for this method. Firstly, you have to find an auction. Second, you have to register your property. Following this, you need to submit your reserve price. If your lot does not reach this
price, then it goes unsold. Also, it may
fall just short of its valuation, but at the auctioneers' discretion, he can still accept the sale. There are also commissions due to the auction house on the sale, and also the transfer of funds to you may take up to ninety days.
Auction procedure
Get your property listed with an auction house. Set a predetermined reserved price. Wait for the bidding to start. Cross your fingers and hope it reaches its reserve. Complete the sale with the auction house. Pay them their commission due on the sale. Wait for funds to transfer to your bank account. Sign over the deeds to the new owner. It is not as quick as you may think.

A quicker sale
We can offer you a quicker sale. If you need to complete in one month, one week, one day or on the spot, we can help. We can take care of the valuation (we make a 'trade offer'), the survey and all legal costs. As soon as you agree to the price we can draw up all the necessary legal documentation. Once we have dotted the ayes and crossed the tees we can, by bank transfer, release funds to your nominated bank account. A same day transfer is possible in some
cases. Your house is sold, and you have money in your bank or building society account. You can even take advantage of our sell and rent back scheme, which enables you to stay in your home short or long term as a tenant.
